We are recruiting for a brand-new vacancy Our client is recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join their team.

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to work at their head office in Crewe.

As a partof this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and purchasing orders as well as managing a team of buyers.

Do you have management experience and want to progress your career within the pharmaceutical sector? If so, then this role is for you


Ideal Requirements

  • Previous experience in purchasing goods.
  • Management experience is desirable.
  • Ideally pharmaceutical background, or Medical Device or FMCG experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Keeping the forecast up to date and ensuring a license has been used or checked in the last 3 months.
  • Preparing and partaking in the company forecast for the monthly review.
  • Finding new suppliers and products for the company ensuring all are commercially viable for the company.
  • Communicating with the buyers and the commercial manager to ensure the lowest cost sourced and correct quantity obtained.
  • Ensuring any changes to products, physical pack or internal pack, are submitted for a sample check.
  • Allocating orders to most commercially beneficial countries and suppliers.
