We are recruiting for a brand-new vacancy Our client is recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join their team.

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to work at their head office in Crewe.

As a partof this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and purchasing orders as well as managing a team of buyers.

Do you have management experience and want to progress your career within the pharmaceutical sector? If so, then this role is for you

Ideal Requirements

Previous experience in purchasing goods.
Management experience is desirable.
Ideally pharmaceutical background, or Medical Device or FMCG experience.

Role Responsibilities

Keeping the forecast up to date and ensuring a license has been used or checked in the last 3 months.
Preparing and partaking in the company forecast for the monthly review.
Finding new suppliers and products for the company ensuring all are commercially viable for the company.
Communicating with the buyers and the commercial manager to ensure the lowest cost sourced and correct quantity obtained.
Ensuring any changes to products, physical pack or internal pack, are submitted for a sample check.
Allocating orders to most commercially beneficial countries and suppliers.
