    Elevate your legal career with a pivotal role at the heart of a prestigious institution. Our client is a leading professional membership organisation. They are seeking a meticulous In-house Lawyer specialising in Commercial Contracts to safeguard its commercial interests and navigate the complexities of legal risk.

    The essence of the role is to provide expert legal counsel across a spectrum of contractual matters, ensuring the business strategies are supported by robust legal frameworks.

    This includes but not limited too:

    • Drafting
    • Reviewing
    • Advising on software agreements
    • Supplier terms
    • IP Matters
    • Collaboration
    • Data sharing agreements
    • Standard terms and Agreements

    The role demands an individual who can work independently, offering end-to-end contract support to internal stakeholders, while also fostering a collaborative environment.

    The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in contract drafting and review, with a deep understanding of commercial contract law, and knowledge of privacy, copyright, and trademark laws. Experience in an in-house or secondment position would be preferred.

    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are paramount, as is the ability to influence at all levels within the organisation. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, coupled with the capacity to manage a busy workload and conflicting priorities, is essential.
