About us:

Brasserie Marceline is a new 150 cover modern Brasserie nestled in the heart of Canary wharf looking to France with its feet firmly in London. Independently owned by proven restauranteurs with a passion for food and hospitality.

Opening this summer upon the K2 floating pavilion in Canary Wharf we're seeking an experienced AGM that wants to be a big part of the opening with a desire to add their mark to a completely new restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Assistant General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and the satisfaction of our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff management, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests feel welcome and attended to throughout their dining experience.
• Overseeing the dining room and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
• Collaborating with the culinary team to uphold the quality and consistency of our menu offerings.
• Training and mentoring staff to deliver service that exceeds our guests' expectations.

Key Skills

• Relevant experience working in a High volume restaurant
• Key grasp of costing, ordering and reporting
• An engaging people trainer with a history of getting teams excited about the food offering and wine menu
• Professional and articulate, reliable and motivated
• Comfortable working with people at all levels within the organization in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to excellent customer service and ability to work autonomously
• IT Literate with Microsoft office (including Outlook, Excel, Word

Base Salary: £52,000 per year OTE
