- To ensure all waste is removed from the factory and removed to the correct skip / container all stock which can be bailed is
- To ensure that the yard is always kept tidy and is operated with safety in mind at all times
- To assist in ensuring the smooth running of the day-day operation to fulfil business and department needs and targets, maintaining product safety and quality standards are achieved
- Ensure that stock is serviced to our customers stock takes will be undertaken of yard area and levels of equipment should be kept as low as possible
- Complete controlled documentation to trace transactions and help us stay compliant
- Ensure the Factory is supplied with all items need for its efficient running
- Ensure that all equipment stored in the yard is segregated and properly accounted for
- Ensure all equipment is loaded onto the correct supplier vehicles
- A dynamic individual, who is driven and committed
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Be able to work under pressure, be flexible and dedicated
- Motivated, reliable and have a strong attention to detail
- Very good standard of written English

An opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative to join our Despatch Team, here at Yorkshire Baker. The purpose of this role is to ensure the factory is supplied with all items needed for its efficient running as well as ensuring that all equipment stored in the yard is segregated and properly accounted for and all equipment is loaded onto the correct supplier vehicles
