Job Description
The Belfast office is seeking an Associate Director with a background in mechanical engineering to join their team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a client-focused Engineer to lead various projects across Northern Ireland, with potential opportunities both nationally and internationally.

The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with strong leadership skills, capable of delivering projects to the highest standards. As an Associate Director, your key responsibilities include:

Act as Lead engineer for mid to large size projects
Manage Client relationships and oversee a team of engineers
Ensure quality and promote technical excellence
Be accountable for team results and budget adherence
Mentor other staff and support CPD activities
Conduct risk assessments and value engineering
Contribute to fee proposals

Qualifications

Extensive experience in mechanical building services design
Knowledge of various market sectors
Previous project management experience
Strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in client interaction
Familiarity with relevant software tools
Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in building services or Mechanical Engineering
Chartered status preferred
Membership in professional organizations
