    Description
    Team - Member Servicing, Claims & Member Shared Services - IT
    Working Pattern - Hybrid - 2 days per week in the Vitality Bournemouth Office. Full time, 35 hours per week.

    Comfortable in communication with Senior Stakeholders

    A Software Engineering Manager is accountable for the delivery of products and services and the performance of a Software Engineering team.

    You will identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them, focusing the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services.

    You will need to provide technical leadership, line management and coaching and mentoring and take full responsibility for all work delivered by the software engineering teams, ensuring delivery on time, with reference to budget and with a high level of quality.

    You will be quick on your feet to respond to change in a fast-paced environment utilising the best of Agile and Scrum Practices.

    Agile and Lean practices
    You know how to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes. (You can manage stakeholders' expectations and be flexible. You can facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders. (Financial management
    You can report on financial delivery. You can actively address internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the team. (You know how to guide teams through the implementation of a new process. (Planning
    You can use data to inform planning.

    You can help to create the right environment for a team to work in and can empower them to deliver.
