Sales Advisor

Full time office based in Barry, Cardiff

Salary is £23k + comission

Responsibilities within this Sales advisor role:

  • The development of new business, via methods such as canvassing, outbound and inbound telemarketing.
  • Build up a broker database and maintain good relationships accordingly.
  • To maintain a competent level of understanding of mainstream lender's underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Sales processing and accurate data entry.
  • Adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • To assist the Specialist Mortgage Advisor at the applicable stages of the sales process.
  • To understand the boundaries and procedures of what is permitted in terms of providing the customer advice (which is not permitted)
  • To pay high regard to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations including Treating Customers Fairly Principles.
  • Encourage and maintain a high level of customer service and excellence.
  • To pay particular attention to ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • To always behave in a positive and professional manner when representing the company.
  • To follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Outbound sales experience (telephone experience)
