    Permanent, full time, term time only plus 6 inset days (part time working would be considered)

    Required from September 2024

    Salary: Grade 6 (SCP9-15) £25,119 to £27,803 per annum pro rata

    Actual Salary: £21, £24,143.60 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

As a partner academy in JTMAT, John Taylor High School are seeking to appoint a self-motivated 6th Form Pastoral Support and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our evolving organisation.



    We are seeking to appoint a 6th form pastoral support and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our fantastic 6th form team. You will be supporting the Safeguarding Officer with ensuring the Safeguarding and Child Protection policy is firmly and consistently embedded within John Taylor High School. To work in conjunction with the Safeguarding Officer to track safeguarding and child protection incidents across the school.



    The ideal candidate will have experience with providing first level support to DSL, liaising with agencies and use of reporting platforms. An ability to provide face to face student support for sixth form students alongside accurate reporting and administrative skills is also required.
