    As a direct service provider, Liverpool Streetscene Services Ltd are responsible for the following services throughout the city of Liverpool:


    • Waste Management - Refuse & Recycling Collection Service
    • Street Cleansing
    • Greenspaces – Parks, Cemeteries and Highways Grounds Maintenance
    • Highways MaintenanceThese services are key to ensuring the city of Liverpool remains clean, green and accessible to all, helping to develop and maintain local civic pride.     Salary:
    Scale 4, SCP 11 - £25,979 + weekend allowance of £5292 & irregular hours allowance of £2688 per annum

    Contract:
    Secondment / Fixed term contract until 31st January 2025.

    Working Pattern: 4 over 7 shift pattern working hours 4:15am to 1:30pm

    LSSL0219We are seeking to recruit a Driver Operative as part of LSSL's street cleansing AM Shift.

    The successful candidate will be required to provide effective driving and operative functions to maintain and continuously improve the image of LSSL across Liverpool.

    You will be required to drive and operate a range of vehicles, in accordance with relevant legislation, LSSL policies and protocols.

    As part of this role you will work as an individual or as part of a team, to assist in maintaining high service standards by delivering the outcomes expected of LSSL.You will undertake a full range of functions incorporating manual and mechanical plant and equipment methods of operation.

    You will take responsibility for any vehicle or equipment used including vehicle checks, reporting damage using the agreed processes, security of items.

    You will be required to litter pick public streets, highways, grassed areas and verges including joint working with other areas of the business.

    You will assist with reactive tasks providing a targeted and flexible response to environmental problems reported across the city.
    To fulfil the requirements of this role you must hold a full UK driving licence.

    You must have knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and have the ability to work as part of a team.
