Brunswick ward at Mill View Hospitalis looking for Health Care Assistances to join their team.

Brunswick ward is a 15 bedded, mixed gender dementia assessment and treatment in-patient ward. It is located in the heart of Hove, only a short journey from Brighton City Centre.

We value the importance of supervision and on-going training and development.

Local to Brighton and Hove, we have weekly bite sized training for staff and each of our wards are committed to regular team away days.

As a health care assistant, you will be working alongside an established and experienced multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

This consists of nurses, healthcare assistants, nursing associates, doctors, the occupational therapy team, a psychologist, the pharmacy team, an art therapist and our PAT (pets as therapy).


You will be required to communicate with patients, relatives and carers and assisting with clinical duties, including personal care and ensuring infection prevention and control standards are maintained.

You will be required to train in prevention and management of violence and aggression training (PMVA). You will be required to support our patients with personal care.

These posts are ideal for people who are passionate about helping others, who are aware of professional boundaries and practice accordingly.
