    Job summary

    We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in one of these professions to join our community pain management service in Lincolnshire as a Pain Specialist Physiotherapist.

    We offer full-time hours from 9-5 Mon-Fri, no shifts, excellent rates of pay, paid HCPC/NMC fees and protected learning time to support your professional development. The role is hybrid with both clinic and remote working.

    Main duties of the job

    Mainduties of the role will see the successful post holder utilising theirspecialist skills to

  • Delivering relevant, effective and sensitive pain management to individuals and groups, as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Promoting patient education and understanding of pain, rehabilitation and self-management strategies on an individual basis and as part of a group
  • Ensuring that pain management is focused on the patients individual needs
  • Ensuring own clinical standards comply with CQC requirements, including infection control, patient safety, equity, protection of vulnerable people and data protection
  • Contributing to clinical team development and MDT meetings
  • Understanding of the importance of psychological approaches

    Job responsibilities

    Previousexperience in delivering pain services with tangible results.

    Currentvalid registration with your relevant professional body or equivalent regulator(HCPC or NMC)

    Akeen and enthusiastic clinician with a commitment to providing excellent,personalised care as part of a multidisciplinary team

    Anunderstanding of the impact of chronic pain in the wider community and howcollaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresseshealth inequalities

    Abilityto work as an autonomous practitioner, within scope of practice and deliver aquality clinical service meeting the clinical and operational needs of the Painservice with senior support as required.

    Tocontribute to the development of, and promote a positive and dynamic image andculture to both internal and external stakeholders. At all times striving toreflect and encourage our core value behaviours

    Todevelop and foster productive relationships with local stakeholder groups,charities, GPs, and other potentially productive links.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • NMC/HPC Registration
  • Desire and ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Genuine interest in facilitating patients to improve self-management
  • Desirable

  • Degree/ Diploma in Pain Management
  • Evidence of specialist training in pain management
  • Member of a special interest group
  • Ability to engage in audit and evaluation
  • Able to review medication and advise GP
