- Confident in reading and fully understanding technical engineering drawings
- Excellent bench fitting skills using a variety of hand and electric tools.
- Confident in using a selection of manual machine tools such as Lathes, Milling Machines, Surface Grinders and Pedestal Drills.
- Experience precision measurement equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier's and Slip Gauges.
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship as a Mechanical Fitter, Machine Builder, Assembly Technician or similar.

Description
Select are currently working alongside a known established Manufacturing/Engineering company in Norwich.Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit Mechanical Fitters to join their team.
As the Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the mechanical Assembly of a wide range of products.
You will be required to to take products from the picking areas, work from the required drawings/directions to build and manufacture products from component to sub assembly level.
Key Skills and Relevant Experience:
Shifts are Monday to Thursday 08:1- 17:00 and Early finishes on a Friday working 08:15 to 12:45
