We're looking for someone who is aligned with our core values and have the following skills and experience.


As an Art Supervisor you will collaborate closely with other departments, such as production, animation, and visual effects, to ensure smooth coordination and integration of art assets into the overall production pipeline.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborating with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand and interpret the artistic vision and requirements of the project. Translate the vision into actionable plans for the art team.
  • Leading and managing a team of artists, designers, and other creative professionals. Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Providing creative direction and guidance to the art team and ensuring that the artwork, designs, and visual elements align with the project's vision, style, and quality standards.
  • Overseeing the creation and development of visual concepts, storyboards, sketches, and other preproduction materials. Reviewing and providing feedback on concept art and designs.
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to art and design. Providing technical guidance and support to the team in using software, equipment, and other artistic tools.
  • Conducting regular reviews and quality checks to ensure that the artwork and designs meet the project's requirements and standards. Providing constructive feedback to artists and facilitate revisions as needed.
  • Monitoring and managing the art team's work progress, ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget constraints. Identifying and resolving any potential bottlenecks or resource issues.
  • Identifying training needs, mentor junior artists, and facilitate professional growth opportunities within the art team. Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication channels with the team, stakeholders, and external partners. Providing regular updates on the progress, challenges, and achievements of the art department.

Requirements:


  • Experience in the games industry and an understanding of art best practices and pipelines
  • Strong artistic vision and creative direction
  • Collaboration, team management and budget and timeline management skills
  • Technical expertise and quality assurance skills
  • Clear communication skills
