    Arconic Kitts Green is currently having an opportunity for an engaged, motivated and charismatic engineer to join the team in the function of Area Electrical Engineer to support the Engineering and Maintenance team in the Foundry Area.

    To provide a professional engineering & maintenance support through the application of appropriate expertise, knowledge and experience.

    To focus on the financial aspects of contracts which include the final project valuations; preparation of project briefs and material and carry out presentations to client.

    Perform RCA's (Root Cause Analysis) of issues.
    Perform in-depth planning and monitoring of activities during periods of planned downtime.
    Work towards understand all Electrical Principles and a good understanding of Process control.
    Basic understanding of mechanical workings would be ideal.
    Work towards understand of all EHS aspects of engineering, including CDM, HAZOP and contractor control.
    Develop engineering specifications to all relevant BS engineering standard, code of practices and Arconic standards.
    To project manage engineering installations using appropriate planning and budget management tools.
    Manage budgets of all aspects of any project
    Follow installation of projects with training of on-site personnel, completion of all documentation and project files.
    To be able to review and critically analyze engineering drawings.
    To be able to follow drawing office systems for filing of drawings etc.
    Microsoft Word and internal systems.
    To be capable of working with and supervise contractors and on-site personnel during installation.
    HNC/HND (preferably a degree) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
    Technical knowledge within the areas of heavy engineering and fast paced production environments.

    Ability to work with others (at all levels of the organization) and positively influence a team along with a proven record of implementing change in an engineering and maintenance environment.
