MBA are proud to be supporting our client in their search for a Financial Controller to join their finance division.

As the Financial Controller you'll report directly to the FD for the UK division of their business, working alongside a Commercial Controller, to ensure the effective delivery of the financial strategy.

They're looking for an agile, confident leader with outstanding analytical and commercial skills to join them on the next stage of their business journey.

As the Financial Controller you'll be responsible for the following:

You'll have full ownership of month end processes and the financial reporting on all key financial statement areas including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash FlowThe Financial Controller will lead on the budget and forecast consolidation, working with heads of departments to review performance and the management accountsYou'll prepare the statutory accounts for the business and support with audit activitiesThe financial controller will work with internal tax teams to ensure tax compliancePeople lead on a small finance teamThe successful candidate for the Financial Controller role will be able to demonstrate the following:Demonstrable experience of operating in a similar role, in a complex business going through growthIdeally, will be a qualified accountantFantastic forecasting and budgetary skills (able to evidence the positive impact these have had in previous roles)Considered decision maker, able to operate at pace whilst considering risk and opportunitiesPrevious experience of people leadership in a similar capacityMy client is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
