Due to significant growth, Trackwork is looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Production Operative to take responsibility for providing exceptional support to stakeholders and the team.
Our Manufacturing Operators will work to standard operating procedures (SOP's), operating a variety of machinery, producing our innovative parts to a specification and high quality standard.
This role is a day shift and will be based at our Wallasey Site. Rates of pay are based on experience and skill level.Key Responsibilities
- Producing high quality parts by following SOP's.
- Champion continuous improvement and provide feedback to internal departments on the manufacturing process.
- Loading, operating and unloading variety of machines, such as: Automated and nonautomated conveyor production lines, Press Work (mechanical power presses & brake presses) and CNC punch presses and machining centres.
- Process jobs to a scheduled production plan.
- Action quality issues and support all nonconformance meetings.
- Support product and process optimisation in line with the quality needs of the business.
- Maintain a high level of Health & Safety standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven background in a large batch manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working to a high specification.
- Competent working to standard operating procedures.
- Identify and utilise best practices methods for working tight tolerances.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and multitask in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operating in a 5S environment.
- Able to work to a high safety and quality standard, with variety of equipment and materials.
- Able to work as part of team and independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Experience in working with SOP's.
- Manufacturing and machine operation experience.
- A multidisciplinary approach to work.
