We are currently looking for a Regional HSEQ Adviser to join our team in the midlands region within the joint venture which has ben established to provide end to end wastewater services for our Client Severn Trent.
Your role will be to Support the Regional HSEQ Manager and wider HSEQ team to provide full Health and Safety function for the STW WINS contract. This is a field based role engaging with frontline teams and managers to work safely and compliantly.
Key Performance indicators
- Keep up to date with Health and Safety legislation, good practices, ACOPS and changes to ensure compliance and maintain industry standards
- Provide consistent, accurate and technical advice to field based teams, supervisors and regional managers.
- Be a point of contact for the HSEQ central team based in Manchester
- Assist with Accident investigations
- Promotion of TBT's and ensuing business is compliant with the delivery of TBT's and other monthly requirements
- Conduct internal audits
- Complete Site Safety Inspections
- Participate in regional teams Safety Stand downs and H&S committee meetings
- Maintain expert coverage in the absence of the Regional HSEQ Manager
- Responding to safety concerns
- Liaising with partners to ensure safety standards across the contract.
Qualifications and Experience
Skills and Behaviours
This role is field based and working from site offices throughout the Midlands (Derby/ Shrewsbury, Stafford, Leicester, Notts, Warwick, Central East and West etc).
You will be issued with a company laptop and must have excellent keyboard skills to produce reports and update records etc
Are you able to build relationships quickly and positively to influence others to take a safe approach

Hours of Work flexibility will be required due to travelling requirements), 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
Company car or car allowance will be provided
Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
