- Manage and supervise a team of 10 joiners, providing guidance and support as needed
- Plan and schedule workshop activities to ensure timely completion of projects
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritise and allocate resources effectively
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, machines and tools
- Oversee machinery including, CNC, panel saw, edgebander, spindle moulder, four side, drum sander etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Train new technicians on workshop procedures and best practices
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Proven experience as a Workshop Manager, Site Manager, Bench Joiner or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Background in Joinery / Carpentry
