I am working on behalf of my client to recruit a Laboratory Technician into their site in the Greater Manchester area.
As Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for assisting the development of products within the polymers industry:coatings, inks, pigments. You will also be responsible for conducting tests on materials and end products.
To be considered for this Laboratory Technician position you will be degree educated in Chemistry or a relevant field – focus on Polymer Chemistry would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
nAssist the formulation of new and existing products.nConduct tests on materials and analyse data.nOversee QC in the laboratory.nWork alongside customers to provide solutions to any issues.nEnsure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Experience/Background:
nDegree educated in Chemistry or a related field.nExperience in laboratory environments.nPrevious experience working within the polymers industry is highly desirable.nKnowledge of regulations and safety measures.
