System Safety Engineer


BRIEF OVERVIEW

• Role: System Safety Engineer (engineer to principal available)
• Role type: Permanent
• Salary/Rate: £30k £60k DOE
• Working type: Hybrid/remote (1 day minimum per week onsite) / 9day fortnight

We are looking for multiple System Safety Engineers from junior to principal level to work on various projects within safety-critical industries, such as defence and space.

There are multiple projects available to work on with plenty coming up.

There is a huge focus on work-life balance, so working from home is fully acceptable if you're able to commit at least 1 day per week on site.

There is also a big emphasis on training and development, with a big budget allocated just for this purpose.


REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of hazard analysis and logging
• Experience with FTA, FMEA/DFMEA, RCA, etc
• Able to produce safety reports and plans
• Understanding of overall systems engineering principals
• Experience with complex, safetycritical systems (Aerospace, defence, automotive, etc)

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE (NOT ESSENTIAL)

• Requirements management
• Knowledge of MBSE
• Understanding of electronics engineering and standards
• Knowledge of defence standards
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline / chartership
