We are looking for someone to manage and motivate a small team of employees, on fixed term contracts, to work efficiently, safely and to ensure targets are achieved.


What you'll be doing:


Day to day you'll work with and supervise the team undertaking Environmental and construction projects on our estates carrying out duties such as fencing, ground works, grounds maintenan081ce, cleaning and caretaking, this may be site based or on individual projects.


You will support train needs and also effective and holistic support to participants with any problems or issues affecting their ability to undertake their role as required, supporting their development and assisting them in their progress towards long-term employability.


Applicants will have:

To join our Training for Employment department, we're looking for someone with:

  • experience of completing environmental and construction projects including fencing and groundworks;
- significant experience working in a customer facing environment;
- evidence of supervision of a mixed skilled construction team;
- a qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework; and
- experience of providing support and guidance in a mentoring and or coaching capacity.


This post also requires applicants to hold a current, valid UK driving license with the ability to travel throughout the district.
