Sales Manager - Fabrication - Business Development - Field Sales - To own the Birmingham/Midlands Region (small £750,000 turnover) and grow and increase to £1.75mil T/O by the end of 2024 through pro-actively winning new business and developingaccounts through excellent account management - Selling to sub-contractors in the Midlands region. You will be the most senior person commercially in the Birmingham region with 7 factory/production team members deliver your customers needs. Head office willask you for updates and pipeline but there is a lot of autonomy with this role and a very realistic set of expectations and leadership.

This is a relatively new region so lots of low hanging fruit - The company turn over 11million across the UK and have a major head office site in the South East

THE ROLE:


  • To use various sales techniques and strategies to develop new business in the Midlands (not necessarily restricted to) and grow turnover
  • To oversee the Birmingham site and make sure all information is reported back to head office
  • You will be a seasoned field sales professional with experience either in fabrication wood product/manufacturing and or technical sales with good similarity in routes to market (customers)
  • You will have 6 pts or less on your licence and be a good, honest, transparent communicator
  • The role is to develop a turnover of 750K to over 1.2million in year 1 through effective business development and account management
  • You will be based from home, the office and ideally as much as possible from customer sites all across the Midlands
  • You will have extensive experience of developing your own pipeline in the Midlands in a similar sector and be able to work off your own steam in an autonomous sales role

    Sell our products, solutions and services (laminate fabricators).... supplying a wide range of bespoke and innovative laminate products and services to diverse industries
