We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Northampton.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education, providing assistance both in and out of the classroom.
This role requires a minimum of 6 months of education experience in the UK.Provide support to teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.
Assist with the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform future planning.Support students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with individual education plans (IEPs) or education, health, and care plans (EHCPs), adapting activities to meet their specific needs.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and achievement, in line with school policies and procedures.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, keeping abreast of current educational trends and best practices.
Minimum of 6 months of education experience in the UK.Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to use initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.Knowledge of current educational policies and practices, including the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and relevant safeguarding training.
