We are currently recruiting for a Security Control Assistant to join us in a state-of-the-art secure facility based close to London Heathrow Airport.

As a Security Control Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the security operations of our organization.

You will assist in implementing and maintaining various security control measures, ensuring the safety and protection of our assets, employees, and customers.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring and Surveillance: Keep a watchful eye on security systems, including closedcircuit television (CCTV) cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Monitor live feeds and recorded footage to identify and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Access Control Management: Assist in managing access control systems, including granting and revoking access permissions, issuing ID badges, and verifying the identity of individuals entering restricted areas. Ensure that only authorized personnel have access to specific areas.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of securityrelated activities, incidents, and investigations. Prepare incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation as required. Provide detailed information and support for security investigations and audits.
  • Supervising: Accompany guests, clients and contractors while they are on site to assist and oversee them when they are in restricted areas of the facility.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Perform routine inspections, identify any issues, and report them to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities as needed.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with other security team members, including security officers and managers, to enhance overall security measures. Assist in coordinating and implementing security protocols and initiatives across different departments and locations.
  • General admin tasks and ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a securityrelated role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of security control systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control, and incident response procedures.
  • Familiarity with security regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Strong observation and surveillance skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Driving license is a bonus.
  • SIA license is a bonus.
