    Fixed Term Contract opportunity within the Exposure Management team at Lloyds. You will contribute to shaping the future of catastrophe risk management in the global (re)insurance industry?

    You will play a critical role in understanding and supporting the market, as well as shaping and influencing the future of excellence in exposure management practices. You will receive a truly unique opportunity to collaborate with top industry professionals both across the Lloyd's market, and within all areas of the Lloyd's Corporation.

    Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyse syndicate-level natural and non-natural catastrophe risk.
  • Lead assessments of syndicates' Catastrophe Risk Appetites.
  • Conduct operational evaluations and technical referrals to enhance exposure management practices.
  • Support the wider objectives of the Exposure Management team.
  • Lloyd's market experience is essential and any non-natural catastrophe risk management exposure (e.g. Cyber, Liability) would be an advantage. You will need the following extensive technical understanding and stakeholder engagement skills:

  • Principles underpinning the assessment of catastrophe risk, including probability, risk modelling and catastrophe modelling
  • Catastrophe modelling practice, ideally from an underwriting organisation
  • Challenges, issues and trends in the EM and catastrophe modelling field
  • Insurance market including Lloyd's, London Market & International Market
  • Ability to explain complex technical information effectively to a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate confidently at a senior level and demonstrate technical credibility
  • Ability to document assessment processes thoroughly and equitably
  • Ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to structure and distil information concisely and clearly
