Metalis is working with a company based in Rotherham, who design, manufacture and install bespoke solutions for a range of heavy industries.

They are looking to add to their team by recruiting for a trainee mechanical fitter.


Job Role:

Following ongoing training, to carry out mechanical fitting duties as designated by the workshop manager on a range of bespoke products.

Completing all tasks and duties according to applicable risk assessments and method statements.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Stripping, maintaining and refurbishing gearboxes, chain and belt conveyors, crushers and hydraulic brackets following training.
Following all health & safety guidelines

Job Requirements:
Apprentice trained in a relevant engineering discipline.
Early stages of your career, looking to progress with a forward-thinking company.
Positive attitude, willing to learn
