Management Accountant

Full time permanent role

Mon-Fri

Salary:
£42000-£45000 per year plus very good company benefits

We are delighted to be working alongside our very professional and highly reputable accountancy based client as they seek to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Uckfield team on a permanent and full time basis.

The role:

This role is best suited to someone who is genuinely passionate about providing an exceptional bespoke service to their own portfolio of clients.

Whether your background is industry or practice, you will be supporting the director in improving systems andprocesses to enhance client businesses which range from entrepreneurs & SMEs to large group companies.

You will be confident working with a range of people, presenting management information, dealing with VAT compliance, and preparing forecasts & budgets.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to work to changing priorities to meet the needs of a diverse client portfolio.

Responsibilities and duties:

Liaise with senior personnel across the group

Review bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns

Prepare and review year end packs to be passed to accounts and audit team

Assist with ensuring that deadlines and time budgets are met

Develop and maintain good client relations

Assist and advise clients with their accounting systems, which can include designing accounting processes and internal controls

Ensure a high level of service to meet clients expectations

Skills and experience required
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by experience

Previous proven book-keeping and management accountancy experience

Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Sage 50
