The job itself:

The Lifeline Service has an exciting opportunity to join a professional and caring Lifeline team.


We are looking for a customer focused, self-motivated individual to support the Lifeline and Operator, Telecare and Technician Management team within the East Riding of Yorkshire as a Team Leader.


The workload is varied, includes leading and effectively managing a designated section of the Service to ensure services are delivered to those customers within the service area.

The post is 37hrs on a rota pattern which includes one weekend in three.

The general working hours of this post are 830am-430pm Monday to Friday but the ability to work flexibly is a must.


You will be required to assist with the management and delivery of the Access Care Planning & Service Manager system and any associated projects this will include project management and the scheduling and prioritisation of resources.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail are vital as well as working within specific timescales.

The successful applicant must be able to work to, monitor and deliver relevant TSA standards and policies and procedures of the Local Authority.


Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential as the role is often the first point of contact for relatives, professionals, and the public.
