Do you have the confidence to help people to quit smoking?
Are you passionate about improving people's health, and feel that you can support and enable people to make the change to a smokefree life?

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust works in partnership with local people and groups to provide a highly effective and successful stop smoking service for anyone who would like extra support to go smokefree, and we're looking for a new member of the team to work in our Team.

You'll be part of a friendly and dynamic team offering one-to-one and group sessions for people who want to quit smoking.

Our philosophy is to support, encourage and enable people to go smokefree, with no judgements and no lectures, so you'll need to be at ease with talking to people from a range of ages and backgrounds, and have the ability to provide them with the support they need.

You'll also be involved in planning sessions and promoting the service by attending community events, so confidence is key If you feel that you can make a positive contribution to the One You Kent programme we would love to hear from you.

Full training will be given.

One YOU Smoke Free Advisers offer specialist support to those clients ready to quit smoking, primarily leading skilled 1-1 support via face to face appointments, telephone, and MS Teams but also offer rolling group sessions in their locality.

The role will contribute and deliver against commissioned outcomes and measures working with a variety of local partners and key stakeholders.
