Graduate Programme - Integrated Supply & Optimisation

Integrated Supply and Optimisation (ISO) is at the core of commercial delivery for the Prax Group.

It manages the physical optimisation of all bulk commodity movements from the supply of crude and feedstocks to our refinery, the sale of excess products and components out of our refinery and the supply of products into terminals not fed by the refinery.

It also is responsible for managing price risk along the whole value chain from crude purchases to retail sales and it is the proactive and nimble management of this risk which differentiates us from our larger competitors.

This activity requires a global understanding of oil movements and prices.

Prax Group is implementing a comprehensive 3-year training programme for graduates interested in pursuing a career in international supply & optimization.

This scheme will provide graduates the opportunity to rotate through Trading, Risk & Shipping and ensures participants will gain a solid understanding of how markets work and the fundamentals of commodity trading.

Prax Group will, over the duration of the 3-year programme, provide graduates with the opportunity to receive training in; Refinery Operations & Economics, Retail, Terminals, Downstream Operations & Logistics, Commercial Finance & M&A.

Graduates will also have the opportunity to visit a number of our locations throughout the UK including London, Surrey, Jarrow and the Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery in Immingham.
