    An exciting opportunity exists to join a market leading and innovative British manufacturer of technology products for the music performance and live production market, in the role of Director of Sales.

    Job Description

    A global role, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading, managing and driving all aspects of the company's commercial and sales activities, with a particular focus on managing the world-wide distribution channel and partners. You shall have an accomplished background in B2B sales including international in at least one major export territory, perhaps also with additional experience in marketing or customer service, and at the heart of your own skill set will be an intense focus on quality customer service, distributor account management and business planning. Previous experience working with structured business systems is essential, and you will be able to illustrate your own effective methods of working with distribution partners to deliver consistently successful results both in sales growth but also market penetration, inventory management, forecasting, program rollouts, all with a high level of visibility, transparency and data driven analysis.

    In this market, products are everything and customers are extremely involved with and passionate about the market and industry they serve. It is highly likely that music plays a central part in your life, either as a player or an enthusiastic technologist or fan. This position will not be done from just behind a desk, and as well as regular attendance at the company offices in the heart of the UK, you shall also be comfortable and happy travelling regularly including to Europe, North America, and Asia with the potential to be on the road up to 50% of the time. In this position you will have the opportunity to contribute as an active member of the senior management team within the business and will be expected to play a lead role in developing and delivering the next phase of future growth for this already well-established brand.
