- Daily checking of cages and animals for signs of husbandry and welfare requirements
- Reporting observations to the relevant people
- To maintain colonies of patient derived tumour lines in-vivo
- To maintain colonies of breeding and experimental Transgenic mouse models
- To run experimental studies at all stages
- To carry out procedures under the authority of the relevant Home Office personal and project
- Supervise and training of junior members of staff
- To record levels of achievement and expertise in personal training records
- To ensure adequate provision of food and water as described in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- PIL A-C with rodents
- Several years of experience in the industry as a Senior Animal Technician
- NACWO training is desirable
- Skills for handling preclinical research mice models
- Ability to conduct basic surgery in particular castration and implantation of tumour tissue
- Experience in tumour measurements and basic tumour imaging techniques
- Must have experience in conducting dosing

As a Licensed Animal Technician, you will join a motivated team of Scientists and Clinical Scientists, to accelerate the development of novel cancer therapies and improve understanding of cancer biology, drug sensitivity and resistance.
