    Job Description

    Job title:Reinstatement Supervisor/Manager

    Reports to:Contracts Manager

    Direct reports:None

    Liaising with:Contracts Manager, Operational Staff, Client & Local Authorities

    Role Purpose:To ensure all activities are carried out to the highest practicable safety standards, delivered to specification, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with the Company's clients. To coordinate the work allocation of all our reinstatement gangs etc.

    Key Duties:

    1.Direct and supervise reinstatement operatives.

    2.Provide accurate information of your team's performance to the Contract Manager.

    3.Ensure that Health and Safety Audits are carried out on the reinstatement teams on a weekly basis

    4.Ensure all jobs are planned and coordinated so they run as efficiently as possible & updated on clients system appcan.

    5.Monitor and investigate Section 74 charges and determine accountability to ensure achievement to KPI figures.

    6.Promote a first-time reinstatement culture.

    7.Organise defect completion within a 5 day turnaround and provide trend analysis, challenge HA/Client defects.

    8.Maintain and develop good relations with Clients and Operations.

    9.Attend pre start meetings and planning meetings.

    10.Identify plant and material requirements and ensure written requisitions are submitted.

    11.Deal with requests from Contracts Manager, efficiently and courteously and resolve any reinstatement queries or issues.

    Key Criteria forSuccess

    ·Achieve 0 incident/accident rates on Health & Safety and Welfare.

    ·Insist on a first-time reinstatement culture.

    ·Zero return visits on reinstatement due to poor quality work or poor planning.

    ·Jobs are completed on time with no penalties or fines for defects or NRSWA notice non-compliance.

    ·Undisputed defects completed within 5 days of receipt.

    ·Allocate work promptly with no backlog of jobs waiting completion.

    ·Ensure contract recharges/cost allocation made/received on time for completed work.

    ·Compliant with audits (Internal & External)

    Key Competencies Required

    ·NRSWA qualification – Supervision

    Additional Competencies Preferred

    ·Environmental Awareness

    ·Excel and Microsoft word

    ·Utility SHEA Gas (Energy & Utilities Skills)
