    We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our Building team in Cambridgeshire. As a Construction Manager you will effectively and professionally manage, coordinate, monitor, and supervise the construction works including management of all relevant subcontract packages.

    What you'll do:

    • Manage the trade contractors including the production of works to drawings and specifications, manage performance on site.
    • Oversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements for the contract and support Construction Managers with matters primarily relating to onsite activities.
    • Coordinate and manage trades on site with regard to both building trades and to facilitate and manage the adjacent infrastructure works to the building.
    • Understand the design process, and work with the design manager, within cost restraints, to facilitate the design, and coordination of production information, to suit site requirements and conditions.
    • Implement correct commercial control of contractors, within pre-set budgets, ensure that contractual and claim correspondence is suitable, action within agreed timescales.

    What you'll bring to the role:

    • Suitable experience as a Construction Manager on similar size, and type, projects for a tier 1 main contractor
    • Previous experience working managing building constructions.
    • Previous experience of working on MoD projects
    • Previous experience with multiple party interests and coordinating with parties for access
    • Previous experience of managing multiple trade contractors inc MEP
    • Previous experience of facilitating LEAN Planner coordination sessions between building and services Trade Contractors
