- X-Ray screening parcels ready for export.
- Conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air, in line with training and CAA regulations.
- Recording and escalating any issues or concerns.
- Pallet screening.
- Maintain focus and awareness within a busy environment.
- Tolerate moderate to loud level of noise in work environment.
- Utilise knowledge of airline codes, prefixes, common cargo abbreviations.
- Follow instructions from supervisor or lead screener.
- Assisting in general warehouse duties.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise and a proactive approach.
- Must be physically fit due to Manual Handling.
- English proficiency (e.g., reading, writing, speaking, listening).
- Excellent visual observation and identification ability.
- Interpersonal skills - Must be able to communicate efficiently.
- Previous experience in a time-sensitive environment is desirable.
- Competent literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
- Flexible attitude to working hours, work activities.

Our client is a well-established global service provider to the Freight forwarding, express and international parcels, warehousing and logistics industryWe are now recruiting for an X-Ray Screener based in Slough you will be responsible for using an x-ray machine to conduct screening and security checks for prohibited items of cargo to be transported by air.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Requirements:
* 5-year employment history in the UK - must be verifiable.
* Clear Criminal Record Check (Basic DBS Check).
* NXCT.
* Cargo Operative Screening - COS.
* FLT licence.
* Right to live and work in the UK.
Skills, Competencies & Attributes:
Salary:
* Salary: Up to £29,000 dependent on experience.
* Monday to Friday - 1pm - 10pm with 30-minute break, 42.5 hour working week.
