    Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products.

    Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Trading Platforms Engineer / Team Lead to be based within the London office.

    Main responsibilities within the Trading Platforms Engineer / Team Lead role include:
    Management of incidents/ requests from external customers, internal brokers, ecommerce teams
    Onboarding customers onto trading platforms and market data platforms
    Instrument Management
    Desk / Market Configurations
    Setup of new markets and configuration of trader / broker screens
    Analysis of client fix logs when troubleshooting customer queries
    Managing project work and incident / service requests

    Co-ordinating with teams within the IT division to ensure that service outages are correctly communicated to the business or affected users.

    Testing new releases and contributing to virtual teams in project work as required.
    Planning and prioritisation of project work to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.
    FIX API - analysis & troubleshooting
    Ownership and management of FIX specs
    Technical Client Onboarding onto trading platforms and market data platforms including FIX Certifications
    Support, management and administration of Trading platforms and reference data
    Mentoring and developing junior engineers
    Strong Ticket Management via an ITSM toolset
    Support of all in-house electronic trading platforms (FX, IRS, Bonds, EQD, Money Markets, Commodities)
    Support of Tradition's in-house market data distribution platform
    9 hour shift pattern including – 1 hour lunch:
    ~ Monday to Friday:
    Shift within 0630 – 1800 UTC
    ~ On-call (per rota) from 10pm to 7am Sunday to Thursday
    ~ Participation in change management and testing on weekends/evenings when required.
