Altum Consulting is proud to be working with college in helping them recruit a highly motivated and proactive Finance Business Partner.

This is an interesting role that will get to the core of the organisation's activities and ensure sound financial managementso the organisation can fulfil its strategic goals.

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:

Act as a business partner to several stakeholders across the organisation
Build strong working relationships whilst working in an approachable, persuasive, and influential manner.
Produce monthend reporting and provide insightful analysis and commentary on budgets vs actuals.
Preparation and reporting of the annual budget.
Prepare cashflow forecasting.

The ideal Finance Business Partner will:

Be a part-qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA or equivalent
essential)
Ideally have experience of working within the further education / local authority sector.
Have strong business partner with experience of working with a range of stakeholders across various departments and levels.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to explain financial information clearly and concisely.
Be Ideally be familiar with local authority/further education accounting.
