    We currently have a vacancy for a Renewables Credit Control Manager to join our team in our Larbert HQ

    To lead a high performing team in a professional, responsive and effective manner, that satisfies the needs and requirements of the business and customers in delivering 'best in practice' collections within the guidelines determined by our credit policies. Leading change management both in processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective working.

    The Role:

    • Work with the Head of Credit in the integration of Renewable products and businesses into the centralised Credit team, including current and future acquisitions. This will include:
    • Reviewing procedures in line with Certas Credit Policy and aligning where possible
    • Ensuring credit risk is minimised, including review of requirement for credit checks and credit insurance
    • Reviewing processes for order release
    • Reviewing invoicing procedures for efficiency, accuracy and timeliness
    • Centralisation and resourcing of Credit processes
    • Manage the day to day team operation for Renewable products (including but not limited to GBF (HVO), Hafod, Freedom Heat Pumps) that delivers business objectives, delegating as appropriate and ensuring adequate cover is provided at all times for all duties performed by team members
    • Ensure aged debt performance is monitored to ensure overdue debt is kept to a minimum and we abide by our insurance policies.
    • Monitor held order status to ensure that tickets are released in a timely manner to reduce customer complaints and to allow effective routing.
    • Provide support and assistance to all team members relating to issue they may encounter.
    • Escalate issues as and when required to ensure a suitable outcome can be reached.
    • Hold and Chair monthly meetings with Sales Management for Renewables covering team changes, key accounts and any relevant updates required

    We're looking for:

    • Effective team leader with proven experience of leading & motivating teams, demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership and accountability
    • Financially astute with commercial acumen and attention to detail
    • Ability to set targets & monitor performance, and to identify and develop opportunities to improve performance for individuals and the team
    • Customer focussed with good interaction skills and excellent sense of customer service values to treat all customers fairly
    • Key influencer with highly effective negotiation and communication skills
    • Target and solution driven, with good organisation skills and ability to prioritise
    • Ability to share expertise and knowledge with other team members to ensure exceptional standards of risk analysis can be adopted and maintained whilst delivering business goals
    • Good knowledge & understanding of Credit Insurance
    • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English minimum standard required
    • Good Microsoft Office skills required
