The Wigmore - an upscale tavern, named 'The Best Pub/Bar 2022' by The Caterer magazine, is currently recruiting for a Waiter / Waitress.
In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service to our guests.
As a Waiter, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, from Monday to Sunday, totalling 40 hours per week.
The early shift begins at 7 a.m., the middle shift at 12 p.m., and the evening shift at 3 p.m.
(the working shifts are 8 hours long + 30 minutes break).In the role of Waiter, your key focus will be to:
welcome guests in a friendly and engaging manner
provide prompt, friendly and efficient service
be familiar with all food & beverage items on the menu
support the team in delivering an excellent experience for guests
be attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to needs of our guests and bar team
be an excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to
demonstrate your passion in The Wigmore and surprise and delight our guests
be responsible for ensuring bills are dealt with accurately
Do you have? -excellent customer service skills
previous experience in a similar environment
flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests
excellent attention to detail
clear conversational English
