    Lead Infrastructure Engineer North Bristol – Hybrid working arrangements - very flexible / Free Parking on-siteSalary £70 - 90k + annual bonus + benefits CPS Group are have partnered with a leading Engineering Technology business that provides Software and Systems the Defense and Public Sectors.

    Due to continued success they have an opportunity for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer with technical knowledge of Automation to join their Bristol based IT Team.

    You will have responsibility for a team that designs, builds, deploys and administers IT Infrastructure for systems, test and integration environments.

    You will also work closely with product and project teams to delivery tailored systems and strategies for a range of production environments.

    Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold or be eligible for SC Clearance.


    The role:
    Lead the identification of requirements to design and implement IT systems such as - workstations builds, network architecture, firewall and VPN config, systems configurationSystems Administration and DevelopmentDeployment of Operating Systems and software updatesConfiguration managementReview, support and supervise the work of junior team membersProvide support and input on technical IT solutions and systems for new bids/proposalsSkills / experience Experience within a similar Infrastructure Lead roleIaC – Infrastructure as Code / CI/ CD (Jenkins / Gitlab)Technical knowledge / experience of Automation / DevOps environmentsHyper V / Virtualisation environment experienceWindows 10/11 – ideally with MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)Cloud hosted servicesNetworking ProtocolsSQL DatabasesLinux experience an advantageTerraform / Docker / Kubernetes an advantageContact David Southwood – CPS Group UK
