    One of the UK's largest self-storage groups is looking for (Graduate) Pricing and Data Analyst. They are focused on constantly improving the revenue of the business as they continue to expand across Europe. The team is made up of highly skilled analysts in the areas of dynamic pricing, commercial analysis, and machine learning and AI. This role will be a crucial part of the team and focusses on implementation of analysis into their pricing models and algorithms to maximise revenue performance.

    This role is great opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career path in a commercial and analytical role, with an opportunity to gain a breath of experience and learnings in areas of pricing, commercial analysis, and the latest data scientist techniques.

    This role is based in their North London Head Office (Borehamwood) 3 days a week and does require your own transport to access them as public transport does not service the area well. The remaining 2 days can be spent in the office or working remotely whichever is your preference.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Take ownership of the pricing model used to set pricing across all countries:
    oManage data flows into the pricing model ensuring accuracy and efficiency
    oMaintain the integrity of pricing algorithms to ensure optimum pricing outcomes
    oConstantly look for areas of the model where formulas or coding can be further refined and improved.

    • Work with their data scientist to understand analytical outcomes and how these can be implemented in their pricing algorithms.

    • Work with the Commercial analyst to understand how the pricing model is used and how further changes can make the model more effective from a commercial perspective

    • Adapt the pricing models to work in new countries as they continue to expand across Europe

    • Look for ways to make the integration of the pricing models into their trading system by liaising with their system developers.

    • Be a key member of the team that develops the new models to drive rent increases to existing customers

    • Attend regular meetings with the Commercial Director and CEO to discuss new ideas on how they approach their pricing, and then ensure these ideas are incorporated into the pricing models

    • Develop an excellent understanding of relevant internal and external data sources used to drive pricing decisions.

    • Develop MI reports with their external tableau consultants to support pricing analysis and decisions.

    Experience & skills required

    • A strong Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or statistical subject (Mathematics, Statistics or similar).

    • An ability to learn advance Excel formulas and VBA coding

    • Experience in programming and coding in a data rich environment.

    • Some experience in database management, data manipulation, data extraction and formatting.

    • Rigorous approach to work, as to ensure accuracy of outputs.

    • Analytical minded with an ability to apply critical thinking to your own work and the work of others.

    • Good communication skills to understand business needs of stakeholders, deliver findings and recommendations.
