  • What the role involves in a nutshell:

  • Take responsibility for an Early Years class of children determined on an annual basis by the Headteacher
  • To carry out the professional duties covered by the latest School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document. The post holder will be expected to undertake duties in line with the professional standards for qualified teachers and uphold the professional code of the General Teaching Council for England;
  • Teach a class of pupils, and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs;
  • Promote the school's vision and values;
  • Securing and maintaining good relationships, contributing to a positive culture, with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and governors;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to positive behaviour management throughout the school;
  • Early Career Teachers (ECT) are most welcome to apply for this position.

    Tours of the school will be available on Tuesday 7th May at 9.30am and on Thursday 9th May at 1.30pm and will last approximately 1 hour.
