- Maintain the Supplier Assurance database - collating questionnaires, filing essential information, e.g. HACCP Plans, Certificates, Policies, Specifications, etc.
- Responsible for carrying out internal audits for traceability, for procedural & HACCP compliance, product inspections & occasional GMP audits and to advise the QA Manager of any non-compliances
- To run the stock inspection report, to ensure that both raw materials and finished products are positively released.
- To prepare, in conjunction with the Technical Manager, any specifications required by customers; in either an internal or external format. This includes both products made on site, and elsewhere under the company agreements.
- Degree or equivalent in a food science or science related subject
- Knowledge of Administrative Procedures; preferably gained in the Food industry
- Excellent communication skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software
- Experience of working under own initiative and in planning and prioritising workloads
