Housekeeper - Band 2

Burns, Trauma & Neurosurgical HDU - Daisy Ward

Post:
Part Time hrs per week (3 Days)

Permanent

Daisy ward is a 10 bedded Burns Unit including a 6 bedded Neurosurgical, Trauma and Burns High Dependency Unit.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be an integral part of the team on Daisy Ward.

You will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment, working with Support Services and co-ordinate the delivery of catering, minor maintenance, stock control and ordering.

Previous experience is preferable.

You will need good organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, be flexible and be computer aware, with the ability to work independently and as part multi-disciplinary team.

The Post Holder will:

Work as an integral part of the ward team, being responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities/ service.
Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment and act as a focal point for nonclinical tasks.
Coordinate the delivery of catering, cleaning, and ward stores
Coordinate and oversee minor maintenance and repairs, together with other specified tasks to meet the needs of the ward.
Work closely with support services, Facilities Management, and other departments as necessary.
