Head of Corporate Portfolio Management Office.
Salary:
£82,000 per annum - Outside London/Regional:

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to establish and shape a new team in the Governance & Transformation Executive Directorate.
In this role you will Lead the Corporate PMO function, drawing together the plans that underpin the execution of our corporate strategy, corporate balanced scorecard KPIs and target operating model.
Responsibilities
- Leading portfolio management activity across including work on their multiyear Transformation Programme, any approved Change Projects, as well as their daytoday delivery.
- Leading assurance activity across the portfolio, enabling databased decision making within the governance structure.
- Leading the team within the Corporate Portfolio Management Office, maturing their capability, and developing them to ensure they can be the very best they can be.
- Owning the relationships and progress reporting for the organisations officerled governance groups to ensure these are insightful, clearly understood, highlight any delivery risks as well as how these are being controlled.
- Chairing meetings across corporate areas to assess future change activity, leading decision making on new change proposals through the governance framework.
- Overseeing the mobilisation of delivery of new or approved change and transformation initiatives, leading the work to ensure the accurate translation of objectives into planned deliverables.
About you
Leadership and Management
Experienced leader of both direct and indirect reports, adept at enabling them to be the best they can be. A high level of competence at delivering through others and working at the most senior level within an organisation.
Portfolio Management
Assurance
Experience in leading portfolio management assurance, varying from oversight of the delivery of programme and projects within the portfolio, the resources needed to deliver them, associated risk and issue management as well as benefits realisation identification and monitoring.
Working with others
Demonstrable experience of work across complex multi-disciplinary programmes and projects, especially with the senior stakeholders.
Adept at building strong relationships based on trust, with experience in leading and facilitating collaborative working and collective decisions making.
Communication and Influencing
Highly adept at communication through all media, at all levels, internally and externally.
Confident to operate successfully as a leader in a large, complex business setting, influencing for business wide change and delivering through others, with an emphasis on driving operational excellence and simplification of outcomes.
