- Working with the Campaign and Social Lead, create and deliver an effective social media plan across numerous platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Set-up and manage a clear social content/posting calendar across platforms in order to effectively deliver on-brand and timely content, whilst ensuring alignment to the campaign plan
- Schedule and manage posts on a day to day basis across all platforms
- Work with the wider Marketing & Creative team to utilise existing, brief new and push boundaries on social-led content
- Devise and agree social KPIs and track and report accordingly to inform future strategy and plans, making data-driven decisions
- Engage with and enhance our social media communities: respond to comments and messages, and foster conversations and relationships with our audiences
- Collaborate with our paid media agency and eCommerce Team on paid advertising initiatives, ensuring a link to organic activity and a joined-up approach
- Ensure that we adhere to and maintain our brand's visual identity and tone of voice on social media, to ensure consistency
- Keep up to date with and monitor online and social media trends, tools and best practice; as well as new platforms, tech and algorithms and build them into the wider social media strategy, to constantly evolve and improve it
- Take part in brainstorming meetings and creative sessions, and play an active role supporting the creation of campaigns and activity
- Collaborate with other areas of the business to support their channels and needs when required
- Occasional event attendance – sometimes at weekends – to cover these from a social media perspective, live and in the moment.
- A minimum of 2 years' social media marketing experience, particularly with management of and/or use of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and preferably other platforms such as YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn
- Demonstrable experience managing social media accounts for a successful brand or business – examples of work and results would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details, and excellent organisational ability
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to manage a busy workload
- Comfortable interacting with customers online and building a community, which may include occasional evening/weekend work
- Passion for all things social media, and staying up to date with the latest changes, tech and industry advancements
- Experience and skills in using a social management tool such as Hootsuite, Sprout or Brandwatch would be advantageous; as would experience in setting these tools up
- An understanding of the equestrian industry would be advantageous but is not essential
- Degree in marketing, media or other related field is a plus but not essential
