Description:

Hunter Savage is delighted to be recruiting for a long-standing client, that is currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting payment as per the agreed terms from clients, whilst maintaining excellent relationships.

The Role:

Work closely with finance staff, partners, and management to ensure timely followup on all outstanding payments.
Produce and share regular and special collections reports, keeping all stakeholders informed. Independently handle tasks to meet objectives, considering the impact of decisions.
Coordinate with the Cash Management team to properly allocate funds to invoices.
Communicate with Client Support teams managing client relationships.
Reduce risks related to long overdue payments to avoid financial losses.
Make authorised adjustments to credits, writedowns, and writeoffs.

The Person:

Some experience in a similar role.
Basic understanding of accounting or finance principles, particularly in law firms or professional services.
Previous work experience in a professional services environment.
Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment, adapting to changing priorities and learning new skills as needed.
