Credit Controller
Description:
Hunter Savage is delighted to be recruiting for a long-standing client, that is currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their busy team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting payment as per the agreed terms from clients, whilst maintaining excellent relationships.

The Role:
- Work closely with finance staff, partners, and management to ensure timely followup on all outstanding payments.
- Produce and share regular and special collections reports, keeping all stakeholders informed. Independently handle tasks to meet objectives, considering the impact of decisions.
- Coordinate with the Cash Management team to properly allocate funds to invoices.
- Communicate with Client Support teams managing client relationships.
- Reduce risks related to long overdue payments to avoid financial losses.
- Make authorised adjustments to credits, writedowns, and writeoffs.
The Person:
- Some experience in a similar role.
- Basic understanding of accounting or finance principles, particularly in law firms or professional services.
- Previous work experience in a professional services environment.
- Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment, adapting to changing priorities and learning new skills as needed.
