About Our Client:


This exciting, flexible and vibrant FMCG company are based in the Bury St Edmunds area with a great national reputation for rewarding staff and giving ownership of their roles.

The companies Finance team have a great management team in place who are keen to hire a Finance Assistant to support the finance manager and function to support the business and further improve the teams efficiency.

With great facilitates and and company culture with 2-3 days working from home per week

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Management team with day to day and month end tasks
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices to be uploaded and coded on Sage and a variety of accounting software at times
  • Timely response to internal and external customers invoice queries and questions
  • New supplier credit controller 3rd party checks

The Successful Applicant:


The Finance Assistant will:

  • Have strong numeracy skills
  • Have previous purchase ledger experience
  • Competent in Microsoft excel
  • Be a great communicator both written and verbal
