Purpose of the role

We are looking for a motion and postproduction videography designer to join our on-site Creative Services team.

With the continued growth of our services at this client site and the increase of complex digital projects and the growing demand for animation, postproduction and video for web and online we have the expectation to deliver innovative and exceptional media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Studio Manger, you will be helping grow this relatively new service line for the creative production (video and sound recording), postproduction, video and animation within the studio.
  • In addition to postproduction, video and animation, you will be part of a wider team that produces print, digital and written content.
  • The role will involve regular interaction with clients, as well as close collaboration with your creative colleagues, bringing a breadth of creativity and innovation to the team. Working in a highly compliant environment, you will provide a seamless service that surpasses client briefs, whilst ensuring the delivery of onbrand creative material.
  • Essential to your role is your ability to build strong client relationships with key stakeholders and relevant support teams, as is your ability to win client work and grow your service.
Types of videography you will be expected to work on and produce:
Off Camera - The Subject stands or sits and looks 45 degrees off Camera.

They do not look directly into the lens of the camera but at someone to the side of the camera as they interviewed.


Event - Event filming covers GV (general views) of the event, for example people talking to each other, event imagery and the general environment.

The Clips can be edited together to create a sort promo with interviews edited into the video.

Green Screen - An individual is filmed against a green screen background.

In post-production the green background can be keyed out (removed) and be replaced with a branded Bank of America background.

Photography - Capturing high quality images for any project/initiatives and portraits where required.


Key Skills/Knowledge:

  • The ability to create and deliver video and animation for various media platforms.
  • Videography shooting, editing and postproduction skills.
  • Working with the creative team to select audio, video, colours, animation, etc.
  • Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
  • Staying up to date on the latest techniques and trends.
  • You have prior experience as a postproduction/motion graphics/videography designer as well as a strong portfolio of projects.
  • You must be skilled and confident on set, instructing everyone on how to create the perfect content.
  • Capable of editing to a high standard with the ability to plan, execute and direct as needed to achieve our clients desired outcomes.
  • The ability to storyboard and use initiative to make compelling content for client projects.
  • Colour grading and creative use of typography and effects
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of design and production across printed and digital disciplines.
  • Strong level of technical and integrated creative design knowledge.
  • An exciting and varied portfolio showing lots of amazing work.
  • Not afraid to use trial and error to create experimental concepts that might not make final edits but show creative flair.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office and Creative Cloud software such as Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Word, PPT and Excel.
