We have an opportunity for a Materials Planner to join our Supply Chain Team.

This is what you'll actually do
As the Material Planner you will make daily decisions of volume of materials to be delivered to both sites.

You will instruct purchasing/calling off of materials and you will be responsible for stock planning production runs and stock holdings, held at supplier in line with forecasts.

You will ensure that Fletchers and Kara sites always have an adequate flow of materials to enable production at the time required without disruption to the supply plan.


You will be responsible for identifying optimum storage solutions and synergies for bulk purchasing of consignment stocks to provide factories with products at mínimal cost and maximum efficiencies.

You will liaise with Purchasing to ensure cross functional goals are met. As the Material Planner you will ensure material availability to meet daily schedules on time and in full.

You will ensure that stock is at the right target levels and you will minimise and mitigate the risk related to redundant stock or short shelf life materials.

You will be also responsible for the management of delist process for raw materials and packing and you will support with any new systems as and when required.

You will work closely with suppliers and Procurement to resolve gaps and delays in supply and escalate as appropriate to resolve queries.

You will work with other Material Planners at other sites in group where needed, to assist and vice versa in resolving issues.


Ideally this is you
- _Experience in a similar Material Planning position_
- _Ideally experience with in a similar FMCG sector or Fast Paced environment_
- _High Attention to detail with _good accuracy whilst working on multiple tasks simultaneously_ _
